What is Giving Tuesday?
This is one of the biggest donor days of the year. People from all walks of life are encouraged to donate to a charitable cause of their choice.
Started back in 2012 by the United Nations, the day began as a way to battle the consumerism of the Holidays and Black Friday.
Since then, the day has grown since then into a movement. It occurs on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving every year.
This year, that’s December 2nd, 2025!

Our mission is to empower children, incarcerated people, and youth in remote communities across Africa, Asia, and New York by removing barriers to education, inspiring creativity, and equipping them with the skills and confidence to thrive in school, work, and life.”

How You Can Give
For GivingTuesday, every resource matters. Consider volunteering locally or at MBM. If you donate to us, your funds will go towards our various programs, such as New York programs inspiring and empowering youth, or towards our BEEP Program, providing bikes to children.
This GivingTuesday, GlobalGiving will match every donation to the nonprofits of your choice starting at midnight EST on Dec. 2. The more you give during this campaign, the more we earn through matching funds and bonus prizes.
